I have been playing Goaltycoon for over two months now and these are the tips I would give you as a new player:
Log in every day and collect your sponsors bonus. This is the one of the easiest ways of making money as a beginner, and takes only a click of a button.
At the start you will get a predefined team of 11 players and 9 reserves as well as 2 team coaches. You will have to put them to train in required skills by dragging them onto that training section {which you see by hovering over 'Team' in the top menu.
Next choose a game tactics that best suits your players and stick with it for maximum tactics bonus. Also you need to position your best players (determined by their Goal score value) on the pitch by dragging them unto the field position.
Set the match and season bonus preferably to a maximum figure.
